By accessing or using Canon (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Canon is an AI-native concept development studio that helps creators structure, maintain, and develop creative concepts. The Service includes web-based tools for project management, AI-assisted content organization, entity tracking, and artifact generation.
3. Accounts
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
4. Your Content
You retain all rights to the content you create, upload, or input into Canon. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your creative work.
5. AI Processing
The Service uses artificial intelligence to process your content. AI-generated suggestions, summaries, entity extractions, and artifacts are derived from your input and provided as tools to assist your creative process. You are responsible for reviewing and accepting or rejecting AI-generated content. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated outputs.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Use the Service to generate content that violates the rights of others
- Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
9. Data and Backups
While we implement reasonable measures to protect your data, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important content. We recommend regularly exporting your project data.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
